Description:Dear Sir or Madam, In 1959, our family moved to Australia. My father was an Australian citizen who had earlier - 1947 - moved to Canada following WW 2 , married my mother, had two boys - myself and my little brother. In 1959 my father added myself and my brother to his Australian passport as a result of my father and mother having marital problems at the time. My mother did also go to Austalia to live in 1959. What I am searching for is evidence that my father did in fact include my brother and I on his Australian passport in order to move from Canada to Australia. I also want to discover whether my father also acquired Australian citizenship for my brother and I. Our family returned to Canada in 1961 and my father has sonce passed away or we could simply ask him these questions. My mother only has vague recollections of that time. We feel that there must surely be a record of a young family emmigrtaing from Canada to Australia in 1959 - we just have no idea how to locate the information we require. I would be willing to pay for this service if a really good and competent researcher feels capable of accomplishing this project. Sincerely, Mike B.
